Brian was given care as mandated. I, his wife, provided oral and skin care along with range of motion exercises to his extremities during my visits. I had to also remind staff to turn Brian to prevent bed sores. Brian had been prescribed Ivermectin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc prior to being admitted. I was told those were not proven to be effective. That they were giving him something that had been proven effective in patients in similar conditions as Brian's. I was never told he was given Remdesivir.

Read moreBrian and I discussed prior to him being admitted to any hospital that he did not want to be ventilated if he ever was diagnosed with COVID 19. Brian was vented without permission. Records state that he verbally agreed to being ventilated, but his oxygen levels and the amount of sedatives given to him prior would have kept him from making am educated decision about the best interest in his care. He called me to say the hospital was going to vent him, not that he wanted to be vented. By the time I got to the hospital they had already put him on the Ventilator in the Nevada Missouri hospital Emergency Room. The day before my husband's death I was shown an lung xray of an individual with only 95% ,use of their lungs left. I could not find any identifying information stating that it was my husband's xray, just the doctor's word. After Brian's death all xrays in his reports never once reflected an image of his lungs having only 5% usage left, but rather at least 50%. According to medical records his medications were also decreased after the last time I was asked if I wanted to take my husband off the Ventilator. I was asked three times to take him off the Ventilator. Once on the third day of admittance, another when I was shown the xray revealing only 95% use of lung capacity left and right before I finally gave them permission to take Brian off of the Ventilator.

Once on the third day of admittance, another when I was shown the xray revealing only 95% use of lung capacity left and right before I finally gave them permission to take Brian off of the Ventilator.

TREATED WITHOUT TESTED
Written by Janie Conroy (Wife)

Hello, my name is Janie Conroy. I am the wife of Brian Conroy. I am here to share my husband’s story so that it may save others from being murdered. My husband worked in the medical field as a Clinical Medical Laboratory Assistant for fifteen years.  I had also worked in the medical field for 10 years prior. He and I were against the hospital mandates from the beginning.  We each had agreed that should one of us become ill with this man made virus and require hospitalization we were against being put on a ventilator. Brian came home from work on 7/14/2021 with complaints of bad sinus drainage and allergy symptoms. We treated with Sinus/Allergy medications. On 7/17/2021, Brian spiked a fever and he continued to have a fever for the next few days.

We treated at home with Cold/Flu medications along with Mucinex because he was having a lot of drainage that was moving into his chest and we wanted to increase productive coughs.  Brian continued to have a high fever the next few days accompanied by diarrhea. The coughing subsided until he took a hot steamy shower on 7/21/2021.  Brian remained in bed the entire time of his illness, approximately five days. He did sit up some in bed and tried to walk about to help break some of the chest congestion up. Then he started to experience headaches.

On 7/21/2021, Brian took a nap and awoke to coughing up fluid and sputum. He told me that it felt like his lungs were filling with fluid. So, we decided to have a telehealth phone visit with a doctor from the clinic for which he was employed and received medical care for the past fifteen years. After the telephone visit, Brian told me they wanted him to come in to run some tests. He stated that  he would go in, but he would not let them test him for Covid 19 due to our beliefs concerning the Covid 19 mandates. He went to the clinic and they tested him for Influenza A and B, refused Covid 19 test and was instructed to treat with over the counter medications. If symptoms increased to proceed to ER.

Brian’s symptoms did not improve. He requested to be seen by Dr. Kellenberger at his Ft. Scott, Kansas office. Brian was diagnosed with Pneumonia and sent home with medications and Oxygen. The next day I went to our local Wal-Mart store and purchased Covid 19 tests for the entire family. We all tested negative. On 7/30/21, Brian awoke and was grasping for air. The previous two days I had a hard time keeping Brian’s oxygen level above 90 even with the use of oxygen at a high air flow. He told me in between gasps of air that “I can’t do another night like this. Take me to the hospital”. I am a licensed childcare provider and had children in my care on that day. I called my assistant in to cover the daycare while I transported Brian to the hospital with oxygen prior to lunch.

I transported Brian to Nevada Medical Regional Center in Nevada, Missouri. Upon arrival, I went into the ER and told the receptionist that my husband had been diagnosed with Pneumonia and we were treating at home under his doctors care, but he was having difficulty breathing even with the  aid of oxygen at high capacity. The hospital staff transferred Brian via wheelchair into the Emergency Room. I parked the car and waited in the waiting room because I was told I could not go back and be with my husband. I sat in the waiting room until 4 p.m. that day.  I witnessed two individuals walk into the ER doors stating that they had tested positive for Covid and couldn’t breathe. They were not asked to put on a mask and was escorted back into the ER where I wasn’t allowed to be admitted. No one wiped down the doors or anything that those individuals touched during the entire time I was there.

I went home and waited a couple of hours for notification of my husband’s health and condition. I called and was told that they had given him oxygen, were keeping him comfortable, but were still having a hard time supplying him with adequate oxygen. They notified me that they were going to use a CPAP machine overnight to see if that would help. Saturday morning I was told  that there was no relief and that they were trying to find a hospital bed for him at another hospital that could help him; that they did not have the equipment to handle patients in his condition. Saturday I received a phone call from a number that was not the hospitals and I didn’t recognize. When I answered, it was my husband gasping for air stating “They are going to vent me.” Before I could say anything else the phone went dead, just a dial tone.

I grabbed my car keys and headed to the hospital to stop them from putting Brian on the ventilator. By the time I had reached the hospital, they had already placed him on a ventilator machine. When I asked who authorized it, they told me that my husband had. I was told that Brian was admitted to the hospital with oxygen levels at 68 percent. He was also given medications to sedate him. In large doses. My medical education told me that there was no way he could have coherently made that decision. In addition to our beliefs and desires to not be placed on a ventilator. (Brian had previously told me that once individuals were put on a ventilator they died) I was in complete shock.

I also knew that when a patient is intubated, it is a process that has to be done before a patient could have a ventilator removed. I was also told later Saturday evening, that they found a bed in Bolivar and asked permission to transport him there. I gave them permission.  I felt there was nothing I could do at that point and decided to sleep overnight, arrange care for our own children, and drive to Bolivar, Missouri. (I called our pastor to drive me because I was an emotional wreck and didn’t feel it was safe for me to drive in that condition. Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri was the hospital Brian was transported to via life flight. Bolivar is an hour drive east of where we lived in Nevada, Missouri.

I was scared, worried, and still had parental responsibilities and a business to run. I chose to continue to work to help keep my mind preoccupied. I was still hopeful that Brian would return home.  On August 2nd, 2021, I made the drive to go visit Brian. I wanted to see for myself his condition and exactly what they were doing to him. On the drive to CMH, I called a few attorneys to see if I could get a court order to get the attending physicians to administer Ivermectin and the vitamins I had requested that I had read had been successful in treatment. I didn’t get to talk to an attorney. They were all preoccupied and my name and number was taken or a voicemail left. I wasn’t sure the hospital would let me in to see Brian, but I was allowed to be in the same room after gowning up and taking precautionary hospital measures.

During that visit and the telephone calls I had with CMH the day before, I had grown tired of hearing that my husband had COVID. I then asked, if anyone there had tested Brian for COVID. I was told that they had never tested him because he was admitted with the COVID diagnosis. I asked for a call to be placed to NRMC to see if they had tested Brian. I was told that they had not. I became upset and stated “You mean to tell me that you admitted my husband and treated him without testing him? Not only did you treat him without testing him, but so did the prior hospital, and I know that the clinic and the doctors that treated him prior to being admitted never tested him either. What I do know is that WE had done a home COVID test at home for the whole family and all tested negative for COVID the day before he was admitted to NRMC.”  I then asked for Brian to be tested for COVID. The test came back positive.

This told me, from my medical education, that his exposure was most likely hospital acquired. Which made sense to me after witnessing the two individuals whom had walked into NRMC,  that had tested positive for COVID and was admitted straight into the ER where my husband was located. They were also never asked to put on a mask nor was any surfaces they touched wiped down or sanitized the entire 6 hours I was there. I proceeded to tell the nurses on duty that Brian had been given a prescription for Ivermectin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc by his doctor as a preventive medication. I wanted to know if Brian could be given those medications. I was told that those were not proven to be effective in patients with conditions such as my husbands, but they were giving him medications that had been proven effective in patients like my husband. I proceeded to tell them that they were not over the counter medications, but medicine that was prescribed by an actual doctor and was still denied.

By August 4th, 2021 I was asked to take Brian off the Ventilator. I told them no. I was asked again on the 5th by a different doctor, there were a couple of doctors caring for Brian on rotating shifts, and told them “I want to give Brian a fighting chance. Even if there is little hope”. I had kept an eye on his vital signs each day I was with him and asked his stats via telephone calls when I couldn’t. On the 6th, Brian’s stats (Blood Pressure, heart rate, and Oxygen status) were slightly low, but looked within normal limits. I felt like that was hopeful results. Then on the 7th, I was shown his lab results and they indicated a couple of organs were shutting down. I didn’t understand what could have happened overnight.

The morning of the 8th, one of the treating doctors came in and showed me an 3D ultrasound of a pair of lungs. He stated they were Brian’s, but I could not find any identifying information that stated the image was indeed Brian’s. When I asked that doctor about it, he said he didn’t know why, but that they were indeed Brian’s. That they showed a lung capacity that was only able to use about 5 percent of the lung capacity. I was asked again if I wanted to take Brian off the ventilator and that death was imminent. I couldn’t believe that my husband was about to die regardless of the care given. I was told his kidneys, liver and heart was shutting down. I felt that the information given to me meant that I had to choose to either allow my husband to drown in his own fluids or suffocate.

I thought that taking him off the ventilator would be the most human thing to do with the information I was given and denied any other forms of treatment. I gave them permission to take Brian off the ventilator and within a couple of minutes he passed away.  After Brian had passed, I went and got medical records from all treating facilities.  There are discrepancies between what had happened and what was documented. Medical records state that Brian agreed to being incubated. His medical condition and medications given at that time would have prevented Brian from doing so. Also, the 3D images from Brian’s hospital stay at CITIZENS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL does not indicate that Brian only had 5 percent usage of his lung capacity left as shown to me by attending physician.
