He was moved to ICU to supposedly be watched better (?) His therapist told me he was the best patient on the floor, and assured me he would be coming home. That night, he had a nurse that I didn't feel confident in and received a call in the middle of the night that he had been placed on the vent. They said he coded, but supposedly said he gave permission when I told them I didn't ever want him on the vent. How do you code and speak?
We were not allowed to see him until it was too late. I, never alone, but only a couple of times while being supervised. Because his phone had gotten left at home [we couldn't speak], and I don't fully know what all he endured.

My husband contracted Covid on September 1, 2021. My daughters and I had it first, and we were handling it pretty well. He went to be tested and received a positive result only to be sent home with no guidance or instructions for healing.
On September 5th, his 43rd birthday, he felt as if his oxygen was being affected and checked it at home. To the best of my memory, it read in the mid to upper 80’s. We took him to the ER where they diagnosed him with double pneumonia, and sent him home on oxygen and some basic meds.
His oxygen was not improving and we went to a 2nd ER, where he sat in an exam room all alone and thirsting for water after several attempts of asking for something to drink. He ran out of oxygen while there from his portable tank and they had no more to send him home with, so he had to be transported home by ambulance. He became very lethargic and confused. I called the ER and the nurse said it was from his fever breaking. His oxygen didn’t increase and he wanted to go to another ER.
The 3rd one admitted him, and I was told by the doctor that he only had a 50% chance of survival. It was doom and gloom from the beginning from the doctor that admitted him. My husband didn’t have his cell phone on him so we had to rely on nurses allowing him to rarely call home.
He was initially on the CPap, but then was supposedly being moved to ICU so he could be monitored more closely?! His Respiratory therapist Face-timed for my husband and I to speak. He could barely hold his head up, but I was trying to stay positive for his sake, and was told by her that he was the best patient on the floor and would be coming home.
I called throughout the day to get updates, and didn’t have a good feeling about the nurse taking the next shift. That night, I received a call that he had been placed on the vent, even after I told them to not vent him. He supposedly had gotten up and removed his mask. What happened to more closely monitoring him?!
The doctor on shift that night said he [my husband] had given permission to be vented, but the records stated he had coded?! His health then declined drastically. He was paralyzed, and I was never informed this in the manner I should have been. He then started having blood clots that I was never informed about until finding out in other ways. In advance, I had asked them to place the leg stimulating cuffs on him to prevent this from happening, but they refused, and said they don’t do those with blood thinners.
His kidneys also quit functioning, but I was told he was never administered Remdesivir because he wasn’t a candidate. Not that I wanted him on those meds, but why was he supposedly not a candidate?! I feel they were covering up and did in fact use Remdesivir, along with other damaging meds.
When calling the hospital, I was trying to follow the FLCCC Protocol and asking for certain supplements and treatments, which they shot down immediately. I asked for a higher dose of Vitamin C than what they were supposedly giving. They said they would give higher doses, but then caught the nurse chopping up an even lower dose of a Vitamin C chewable to be administered in his feeding tube!
Every request by me was declined, such as other supplements and Ivermectin. The doctor responded by saying he wasn’t going to listen to my “Google Knowledge,” and if it continued, I would be on a need-to-know only basis.
They refused my seeing him until it was too late. I was treated harshly by most nurses, doctors and staff. He was suppose to be put on the waiting list for the Ecmo machine, but there was no actual list. The doctor said he would just have to call and check for availability. His health went from bad to much worse after being put on the vent. It could have been prevented if they had given him proper time to regain his oxygen in less drastic measures.
There is much more I can eventually retain from my memory, but the trauma has caused me to block much of it out until something in particular ignites the memory.
